Fenix Furano Aparthotel

4-star ski-in/ski-out aparthotel at the base of Kitanomine Gondola in Furano

Location & Ski Access

Fenix Furano sits directly across from the Kitanomine Gondola, giving guests immediate access to the slopes of Hokkaido's second largest ski resort. The on-site Rhythm Furano rental shop and ski pass sales desk let guests rent gear and buy lift tickets without leaving the building. Night skiing is available on both sides of the mountain, extending ski time after sunset.

Accommodations

The property offers 62 full-service units ranging from hotel-style suites to multi-bedroom apartments, including dual-key configurations that separate sleeping areas for privacy. Each unit includes a kitchen with dishwasher and oven, a living area with streaming TV, and a private bathroom with bidet and slippers. Selected apartments feature tatami rooms and in-unit washing machines, which are uncommon in Japanese hotels.

On-Site Services & Amenities

A free shuttle service, bookable via WhatsApp, transports guests to Furano town, the train station, and the Prince side of the resort. Complimentary laundry facilities are located in the lobby, and a ski locker room with boot dryers and storage carts helps manage equipment. The property provides free private parking, bike hire in summer, and 24-hour security with key card access.

Dining

The on-site restaurant serves a daily à la carte breakfast that alternates between a Western set and a Japanese set. For dinner, the restaurant offers Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki set menus by reservation. Guests can also walk to hundreds of local restaurants and bars in the Kitanomine ski village, just minutes from the hotel.

Family & Group Stays

Fenix Furano provides spacious multi-bedroom apartments with living and dining areas, kitchens, and multiple bathrooms, accommodating families or groups of up to 6 people. The property offers free laundry facilities, a shoe dryer, and a safe deposit box in each room.
